My brother is really getting into the hobby of photography. The next 4-5 pics of Corey are ones that he did. Turned out pretty good. Thanks Andy! If you like his stuff, he is up for hire!!!

Here is a cool picture that my brother took with a "fisheye lense" on his camera. Corey is sitting up now, and rolling around. She can stand up on her own but can't really balance just yet.

She is five months old now and we are loving every minute of it!

Pic from Corey's Dedication

Here is a picture from Corey's Dedication service. She was wide awake for the whole thing! It was an awesome experience. He can't wait to see what God does in her life.

New pics of Corey!

Here are some professional pics of Corey at 1 week old. She is a natural in front of the camara. She is doing very well adjusting to life outside the womb. She is even starting to smile at us already. It's so amazing to see what a beautiful creation God has made. She truly is our miracle and such a blessing to us! We can't imagine life without her.

39 weeks! Anyday now...

Tues. June 12th
We went to the doctor today! We were hoping I would be dilated to a 4 or 5...but we were only at a 2. Better than the one we were dilated to last week I guess. I am just ready to get this kid out! Both because we are excited to see her, and the fact that I am really uncomfortable! We go back to the doctor Monday the 18th (if I don't go into labor before then) to see how I am progressing. If she refuses to come out on her own...we will probably induce mid to late next week. Jon is really hoping she comes on her due date (Sunday the 17th) because he wants her to be born on Father's Day!

Mom at 33 weeks (7 more to go!)

Things are going along smoothly. We now have all of the necessities and the nursery is almost finished. Now comes the waiting... I think it's just now becoming more real that we are about to become parents. I feel like we'll be saying goodbye to our old lifestyle, but I've been told you never look back once the baby's here. We are looking forward to starting our adventure!

Dirty Diaper preparation

This was a game we played at the shower. They put candy bars in diapers and you had to guess what type it was. It looked pretty nasty!

30 Weeks

Week 30 is finally here! I feel like this is some kind of milestone or something. Only 10 weeks to go (give or take a couple). We take our first baby classes next week where we learn how to care for an infant. I've been trying to read some infant care books but can't seem to concentrate on them, so hopefully we will learn a lot from the class! : ) We also have our childbirth class next weekend...hopefully we won't be too traumatized. I guess it's too late to back out now!

27 weeks!

Praise the Lord!! The nausea has finally ended! I've traded nausea for all the other joys of the third trimester (but hey, I'll take it!). We have been busy getting the nursery together -pictures will follow when it's finished.

Yet you brought me out of the womb; you made me trust in you even at my mother's breast. From birth I was cast upon you; from my mother's womb you have been my God. (Psalms 22:9-10)

23 Weeks

The baby finally hit a growth spurt over the past few weeks. People now are starting to notice that I'm pregnant (not just fat!) At the 19 week ultrasound the technician didn't even know I was the mommy. The baby is starting to kick all day long and sometimes all night too. As far as the morning sickness goes...I'm still taking medication but I'm able to taper off a bit and I'm feeling MUCH better. I'm glad to finally start enjoying pregnancy!

Mommy at 23 weeks

Jeremiah 1:4-5

It's a girl!
Already sucking her thumb!
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart.
